The Elite Edge My journey didn't start in a jewelry workshop; it started on the red clay and hard courts of the international tennis circuit. Before moving to the United States to compete as a College Athlete, I was ranked as a Top 3 Junior Tennis Player in India (AITA). I know what it’s like to play under the highest pressure. I know the grit required for a three-set match in 90% humidity, and the focus needed to maintain a national ranking. For me, tennis is more than a sport; it is a lifestyle of precision and resilience.

As a high-level athlete, I’ve always used jewelry as my "armor." It is the lucky necklace I touch before a serve and the earrings that make me feel powerful when I walk onto the court.

However, I noticed a recurring "unforced error": most fine jewelry is designed for the gala, not the Grand Slam.

I’ve seen delicate chains snap mid-overhead during a match.

I founded Tamanii (a play on my name, Tamanna, meaning "Desire") to bridge this gap. I am on a mission to curate and test Play-Proof Luxury—jewelry that is as relentless and resilient as the athletes who wear it.
